Exsportise in a nutshell

Exsportise run Sport, and Sport and Language holiday camps for kids between 10 and 16 years old. Our activity programmes offer children excellent standards of coaching in tennis, football, golf, hockey, rugby, dance, basketball, swimming and horse riding. Our holiday camps are held every summer in three beautiful locations in the UK: Seaford College School, in West Sussex - near London and easily accessible from both Surrey and Kent; and Clayesmore School, located in Dorset, within easy access of the towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton and Bristol and a short journey from the fast West Country train line to London. Oundle School near Cambridge, is only 45 minutes on the train from London, Oundle recently celebrated its 450th anniversary and has excellent sporting facilities.

How it all started...

Established in 1988 by Olympic Gold Medalist Steve Batchelor, Exsportise have always made it a mission to provide the best sports coaching holidays for kids in the UK. Leading Exsportise is  Bram van Asselt, who has have played and coached at international level, and is the author of various teaching manuals.

Our coaches

The coaches themselves are highly experienced and fully qualified in their sport, and in first aid. Year on year, many Olympic and National Champions can be found amongst our coaching team, providing top sports tuition and inspirational advice to the children that attend our camps.

Our ethos

Committed to sport ourselves, we understand the importance of sport in the development of young people, and in all our work we heavily emphasise qualities such as teamwork, leadership, motivation, discipline, and friendship which are at the very heart of playing sport. From rugby to dance, all of our programmes have all been designed to be brilliant fun, and to appeal to young people of all abilities. Our sports programmes consist of Academy Sport , which enables kids to focus on one sport, Multi Sport , which gives a range of tuition across two or three sports, and Sport and Language which consists of one main sport and English language classes.

The Exsportise holiday camp experience

We aim to provide a truly fun packed and valuable experience to every child that comes on one of our camps. Not only do our students receive the very best coaching available, enabling them to really improve at their chosen activities, but we also aim to help them gain confidence and independence by encouraging teamwork and including social evening activities in all of our programmes, including a weekly barbeque and disco. The camps have a wonderful international flavour, with students traveling from Spain, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, China, the UK, and the USA, enabling kids to mix with students from other countries - broadening their horizons and creating lasting friendships.
