Can my child(ren) change course once they are at camp? Yes they can. Students must first discuss this with their coach. He or she will be in the best position to decide whether a change is appropriate or not. Then with your agreement and providing the Centre Manager has availability, a change will be made. If they wish to upgrade their course there will be an additional charge to pay. If they downgrade their course we will not be able to refund the difference. Evening Entertainment/Bedtimes Every evening we offer a programme of various entertainments. This offers both staff and students a chance to get to know get each other better and to have some fun too. Bedtimes start at about 9:30pm for the younger students and go through to 11:00pm for the older ones. After a full day of sports coaching most find that they are tired and we do try to ensure that everyone gets a good nights rest. What happens if my child damages anything at the centre? You will be contacted by our Head Office and you will be sent an invoice in order to pay for the damages caused. What if my child(ren) has problems at school/home/or suffers from homesickness? Should your child(ren) have a history of any personal problems please let us know before making a booking. It is still a rare occurrence when we have not been able to accommodate a child. We appreciate and understand that any child(ren) can suffer from homesickness during their time at camp. If you think that this will happen then it is advisable to keep contact to an absolute minimum during the first 48 hours of their holiday, as we often find that by the third day homesickness has vanished. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund for any student who leaves the camp due to homesickness. No refunds will be made for any student sent home for unacceptable behaviour. Excursions - Overseas students only As part of their holiday, for those staying a minimum of two weeks, we offer all overseas students an excursion every Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be to a Theme Park/fun/adventure destination, and Sunday a visit to a cultural place of interest or the beach weather permitting! All the outings are fully supervised by our staff. What happens if my child(ren) has a problem while they are at camp? We always endeavour to do our very best but sometimes things can and do go wrong. If there are any matters that you are dissatisfied with contact either the Centre Manager or Head Office, while your child(ren) are still at the camp. We are then in a position to begin to put things right. It is impossible for us to rectify a problem retrospectively. The weather - what if it rains? We have provisions in place should the weather be too cold or too wet to continue outdoors. Generally, we continue as normal. What will my child(ren) take away at the end of the course? They will take with them their sports certificate and language certificate (if applicable) from their coach or teacher. What would happen if our child(ren) has their birthday at camp? We try and make it a really special day with a birthday cake and sing song! P.S. It is always best to remind us nearer the time! Can I visit my child(ren) at the camp? Of course, but we insist that you sign in and out with the Centre Manager. Please collect a bright orange Exsportise wristband to wear. You will not be able to stay on site overnight. Our Head Office can provide help in locating suitable accommodation nearby. What do I do if I need to make an insurance claim? Please consult your travel insurance certificate where you will find the various sections covered by your insurance. If you need any assistance with this please do not hesitate to contact Head Office. |
