Health & Safety

Staff

All our staff are hand picked. We believe that they make a lasting impression on the children and therefore great care has been taken throughout our recruitment process. Each one of our staff members are selected for their enthusiasm, dedication and commitment. Before they start working for us each one is checked and passed by the C.R.B. (Criminal Records Bureau) and prior to the camps all receive training in safety procedures, first aid and pastoral care. The specialist sports coaches are fully qualified in their chosen sport and many have a shared interest in other sports. All language teachers hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.

Health

Each centre has a Matron on call 24 hours a day. He or she will run a daily surgery and handle all injuries and illnesses. We also have well-established links with local doctors, dentists, and opticians.

What happens if my child(ren) takes medication?

You must notify us of this on the Medical Consent and Personal Information Form. You will need to give specific details of timings and the amount of medication to be taken. All medication must be handed to the Matron when checking in at the centre. He or she will keep all medications locked up and stored in the appropriate place. Matron will then be in charge of making sure that all medications are taken on time. Exsportise always seeks professional advice wherever and whenever necessary. The Centre Manager or Administrator will keep you informed if your child(ren) experiences any illnesses or injuries whilst staying with us.
