| Run by Tony Windless former NBA and now MK Lions player. 6' 5'' Tony returns for his second year with Exsportise, following a very successful first year with us. The basketball camp is hosted at Clayesmore and Oundle Schoolsl over the summer holidays. Exsportise basketball is designed to give students a winning edge by developing fundamentals such as jumping ability, power, speed, strength, agility, quickness and confidence. Our philosophy is to ensure each student has fun whilst learning in a controlled, safe and structured environment. There will also be a daily emphasis on attitude and character development. Our coach to student ratio of 10:1 means that every student receives quality instruction and plenty of one-on-one attention. Each student will leave the course a better basketball player with stronger skills and a greater appreciation for the game. Whether you are attending an Exsportise Camp as an individual, with a group of friends or as a member of a team, each player is challenged in an age-appropriate program. Skills lessons are accompanied by teaching in elements of nutrition, rehabilitation and fitness, to make for an interesting, stimulating and exciting five days. Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Basketball Programmes Whether you chose Academy or Multi Sport, the basketball holiday camp is organized into three sections - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Beginners are offered technical training, with handling skills, ball passing and control. Players progress to the basics of team play and tactics with emphasis on creativity and playing under pressure. Intermediate players refine their technical skills, specifically 1 v 1 and ball possession, while also absorbing the practicalities of combination play, small group tactics and team play. Players learn about fitness training, nutrition and game preparation. The advanced basketball camp is for players who require a greater challenge. Whilst continuing to improve technical skills and tactical knowledge, Exsportise basketball summer camp also teaches the player more advanced concepts of team play. At the end of the week, groups will play matches against other teams of similar ability. Parents are invited (and encouraged) to come and watch.
