Academy SportUp to 6 hours of expert dance tuition per day. The course covers creative, social, technical and theatrical aspects of dance, culminating in an end-of-week performance.
Multi Sport Dance instruction in the morning, followed by several other sports or activities in the afternoon.
Sport & LanguageApproximately 3 hours of dance per day, with Language instruction in the afternoon.

Exsportise Dance Camp is in its third year, but such has been the impact from last years course that during the Summer holidays 2007 we will be running a full time Academy Dance Camp. Both our dance teachers are highly experienced and qualified, and are excited about summer 2007 at Clayesmore.
A number of styles are taught and the week culminates with a display to the whole of the camp. This pop/jazz/contemporary dance course is designed to cater for all ability levels. It covers:
Creative Aspect: Students will learn the process of creating a dance. They will be guided through all the stages of a creative process from an initial stimulus to the production of a complete dance form.
Social Aspect: Students will learn to do typical themed dances and some typical ‘dance hall' styles of dance.
Technical Aspect: Dance technique classes will see students participating in order to learn about the conditioning and technical disciplines involved in dance.
Theatrical Aspect: Students will be expected to dance in an end of week ‘showing' of their work. This will enable them to gain understanding of the problems involved with the learning, rehearsing and setting a dance on stage.
Dance is only available at Clayesmore School from 8 July to 4 August. Places are limited so be sure to book quickly!
