Programme Details
Our Music Summer Camp programme is a popular choice for students. Focusing on contemporary musical styles such as Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul and Jazz, the course includes 15 hours of music classes, three hours per day, with activities like creating and performing each week. Our music team consists of professional musicians and experienced teachers who are passionate about music. They encourage students to express themselves freely while having fun. Our classes are designed to keep children engaged and help them work towards their personal music goals. Throughout the week, the course features teaching, musical games, rehearsals, songwriting, recording and performing. Students gain experience both as solo performers, in a choir, and as part of a live band.
A distinctive feature of our Music programme is the weekly student performances and live band sessions. Under the guidance of our Music teachers, students come together as a band and prepare inspiring end-of-week stage performances, where they showcase their band skills in front of the camp and even support our dancers with live music, creating an engaging performance.
Students can choose between an Instrumental Music education programme or a Vocal Music (singing) education programme.
Benefits and results
Our low student-to-teacher ratio in music class, at 1:8, enables our teachers to focus on each student's individual strengths. Our instructors can easily give them the attention they need.
A key feature of the programme is to build confidence in students and empower them through their passion for music by offering a unique "band in a week" music performance programme during the summer. These advantages combined make Exsportise one of the best music schools in the UK for summer tuition.
“We believe that music, like English, is a universal language, but like any language, it can only be appreciated by those who engage with it. By collaborating with other musicians, we offer this opportunity.” Exsportise Head of Music
