As the summer sun sets on another unforgettable season, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that was Exsportise 2023. It was a summer filled with growth, friendships, and sportsmanship, and we're excited to share some of the highlights with you.

This summer, as Scott M returned to the English shores to reunite with friends and family, he continued his journey of seeking unique employment experiences. Lucky for us, he found a place here at Exsportise Summer Schools, where he played the role of an Events Manager. "I never imagined when I embarked on my funemployment journey that I'd be delving into the dynamic world of events management. Yet, here I was, coordinating 6 weekly entertainment programmes for around 150 spirited international teenagers," Scott reminisces.

John Royce is an internationally renowned field hockey coach with an impressive record of accomplishments spanning both men’s and women’s senior level, as well as age group experience. His experience and expertise have taken him to the international stage, where he has coached both men and women at all levels, from 10 years old to senior international. John’s coaching style is based on clear communication and a conceptual approach to developing technical and tactical skills. He has a real passion for helping young players reach their potential and achieve their ambitions. His commitment to excellence has earned him numerous accolades including a FIH Grade 1 Coaching Federation of International Hockey, Great Britain Women’s Head Coach for the Sydney Olympics 2000, England U21 Men’s Coach 1995 - 1997, England Men’s Head Coach 1997, and International playing experience with the England U21 and England Training Squad. John’s wealth of knowledge and passion for helping young players reach their goals make him an invaluable member of our coaching team. He is an inspiring leader who has a proven track record of success on the international stage. With his guidance, players can be sure to reach their full potential.
