Excursions and Trips
Weekend Excursions
A two-day cultural excursion package is included in the summer school fee for students staying two or more weeks.
Following a busy week at summer school, weekend excursions give students the chance to enjoy their new friendships in a more informal, genuine and relaxed setting. All excursions are fully supervised by our experienced staff, who receive specialist excursion training, so you can rest assured that your children are safe during our off-site trips.
Saturday Recreational Excursions
Our Saturday excursion is primarily recreational, giving children the opportunity to relax, develop their new friendships, and enjoy a day of adventure and fun.
Arsenal Stadium (All venues): Football players will have a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club. Students will experience walking in the footsteps of the Arsenal first team on a match day, emerging from the changing rooms onto the pitch while learning about this historic club. They can also visit the Museum and Arsenal Store.
Leicester / Cambridge Tour (Oundle) and Brighton / Southampton / Windsor Tour (Seaford & Worth): Students will get the chance to explore some of the UK's most historic cities. During the trip, students will learn about key landmarks along the route, with time to walk around the city centre, visit a café, or shop with friends.

Sunday Cultural Excursions
Our Sunday excursion consists of a landmark city visit. These cultural excursions help students to learn more about the country whose language they are learning while they experience British history, famous landmarks, culture, and shared memories beyond the classroom. A typical Sunday cultural excursion for our summer schools is a day trip to London or another major UK city.
London Tour: Students take a scenic tour in small, supervised groups of the capital's famous landmarks and national attractions, or visit cultural attractions. Tours may be by walking, boat, or bus. Tours may include limited shopping and are supervised at all times.
