Airline Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Information
All International transport providers have rules and regulations about children travelling alone or unaccompanied by an adult. Some airlines do not permit children to travel alone under a certain age. Others require children to use their Unaccompanied Minor service when travelling alone. Each carrier will also have their own charges, so please check their website very carefully for details and booking conditions.
If you use an Unaccompanied Minor service, please ensure you have paid for the service BOTH WAYS (if required) and have completed the Unaccompanied Minor Information Form for each leg of the journey. Your transport provider will supply you with these.
UM Contact Information: Please let us know on the Transfer Form that you have booked a UM service, and we will send you the details of the person responsible for your child. We aim to provide this information no later than 3 days before the date of travel. If, at the time of booking an Unaccompanied Minor service, you are told you have to give the name of the staff member, please use your own and replace it closer to the time with the details we provide.
